The Inaugural Dr. Duncan Krause Lecture took place at UGA in Cedar Street Building B on Thursday, February 27th with Dr. Mitchell Balish speaking. Dr. Krause retired from UGA in 2019 after a long and successful career.
Dr. Mitchell Balish came to speak at UGA Thursday, February 27, for the Inaugural Dr. Duncan Krause Lecture. Dr. Balish is a Professor and Assistant Chair of Microbiology at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Before going to Miami, Dr. Balish did post doctoral work at UGA with Dr.

Research in Lin laboratory focuses on medical mycology: We study the molecular mechanisms of fungal pathogenesis and microbial communication and development.
