Congrats to our 2017 Graduate Award Winners!

Congrats to Microbiology Graduate Students Andrew Borchert and Julie Stoudenmire, who were recognized for their important contributions to our department and campus at the 2017 holiday party. Andrew was awarded the 2017 Dr. Juergen Wiegel Graduate Award in Microbiology for his outstanding work in microbial biodiversity and microbial physiology. Julie received the Dr. Joy Porter Williams Fellowship in Microbiology in recognition of her outstanding accomplishments in research, teaching, and service. Way to go Andrew and Julie!
