Responsibilities: During your assign lab session(s), tasks may include providing educational support to current students, troubleshooting experiments, helping organize supplies, cleaning areas of the lab, and helping provide feedback on how to improve the courses overall. Your official job supervisor will be the Microbiology Lab Coordinator, Tony Toby, but your day to day instructions will come from the graduate TA and or the instructor of the class.Eligibility: To lab assist for MIBO2500L sections, you need to have completed MIBO2500L or MIBO3500L. To lab assist for MIBO3500L sections, you need to have completed MIBO3500L or have prior experience as a MULA. To lab assist for MIBO3510L, you need to have completed MIBO3510L. Selection: Your application will be reviewed by the course instructors and if you are selected, you will be contacted by Dr. Julie Grainy to coordinate your schedule and onboard you to the program.
