UGA Microbiology Graduate Student Selected for International Research Fellowship UGA Microbiology graduate student Hannah Bullock was selected as one of five recipients for the inaugural Franklin College-University of Liverpool Doctoral Student Short Term International Research Fellowship. Microbiology Department Hosts Genomics Workshop The Microbiology Department was pleased to host a two-day workshop on comparative genomics taught by Prof. Valerie de Crecy-Lagard and assisted by Dr. Jennifer Thiaville, from the University of Florida (Department of Microbiology and Cell Science). UGA faculty members and graduate students were trained to use SEED, a comparative genomics database and workbench.
