PhD Candidate Jeff Dodelin wins Best Student Poster Presentation at SIMB

Jeff Dodelin Receives Award

 

Jeff Dodelin of the Eiteman Lab won the Carol D. Litchfield Best Student Poster Presentation Award in the area Metabolic Engineering at the August 2022 Society of Microbiology and Biotechnology annual conference in San Francisco. The title of the poster was "Modifying citrate synthase activity to increase acetyl-CoA availability in Escherichia coli." Jeff's work involves modifying central metabolism in E. coli to increase the yield of desired products derived from acetyl-CoA. Congratulations Jeff!
