Image: The Microbiology Department would like to congratulate Matthew McFadden for being awarded the 2022 Microbiology Outstanding Undergraduate Award! Matthew's distinguished undergraduate career includes researching B. pertussis in the Harvill lab, winning the Presidential Award of Excellence, being inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, serving as Redcoat Band Section Leader, working with the Public Service and Outreach Student Scholars Program, and IMPACT Service Breaks Community Outreach Coordinator. After graduation, he plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences at Ohio State University, focusing on microbiology and immunology. Congratulations, Matthew!
