Image: The Microbiology Department is pleased to announce that we have three Summer Research Grant recipients! Our congratulations go out to Abigail Deaven of Lewis Lab, Amy Siceloff of Shariat Lab, and Jared Smith of Shariat Lab. The Graduate School offers competitive grants for doctoral students from any discipline to conduct research related to their dissertations. Funds may be requested for equipment , supplies, software, data collection or analysis activities, and other operating costs associated with conducting the research. Funds may also be used for specialized training opportunities that will enhance specific dissertation research activities. Way to go Abigail, Amy, and Jared!
