On March 31, 2019, Microbiology graduate students, Jennifer Kurasz, Kathryn Bellisimo, Taiwo Akinyemi, and Nana Shao, and visiting scientist Zomary Flores provided lab tours and research demonstrations for high school students who were participating in the Georgia Science and Engineering Fair at the Classic Center in Athens, GA.   The Department of Microbiology laboratory tours were organized by Dr. Anna Karls as part of the GSEF STEM Facility Tours initiative of the Georgia Center for Continuing Education.
