What They Are Doing Now: Dawn Adin

Image:

Dawn Adin (Ph.D. 2008) earned her B.S. at Jacksonville University in 2001. She then entered the Microbiology Graduate Program and joined Eric Stabb’s laboratory. Her dissertation was entitled “Role of LPS and peptidoglycan monomers in the symbiotic interactions between Vibrio fischeri and Euprymna scolopes”.  All of Dawn’s dissertation work is now published, which includes 2 first-author papers in Applied and Environmental Microbiology (2008), a first author paper in Journal of Bacteriology (2009), and two third-author articles (2004, 2006).  This is quite an accomplishment!  Dawn is currently a postdoctoral fellow with Dr. Susan Golden at UC-San Diego.
