Congratulations to our Spring and Summer 2017 graduates!
Microbiology Graduation Ceremony
Each spring and fall semester the department recognizes the graduating Microbiology seniors. Microbiology undergraduates planning on graduating in the summer semester are invited to participate in the spring ceremony, which is held in the afternoon of the day of the spring semester Commencement. Friends and family of graduating seniors are invited to attend the ceremony. The format of the ceremony consists of opening remarks and introductions, some light-hearted entertainment, a brief talk by a distinguished alumnus, and individual recognition of the scholastic and personal achievements of each student in attendance. Students interested in participating in the ceremony must complete a questionnaire that can be obtained by request to firstname.lastname@example.org. The graduation ceremony is followed by an informal reception where students’ families can meet faculty and staff of the Microbiology department.

2) Choose Student tab
3) Select "Apply to Graduate"
4) Follow directions
5) If you need help, please contact the Graduation Certification Office firstname.lastname@example.org
PLEASE NOTE: Summer 2018 Graduates: If you are completing graduation requirements during Summer 2018 semester, you MUST apply for Summer 2018 graduation. You will still be able to participate in the Spring Commencement Ceremony and your name will be printed in the program (as long as there is no FERPA restriction on your record). Please make sure you are choosing the correct graduation application term and if you are unsure, discuss with your advisor. There is always a lot of confusion regarding Summer vs. Spring graduation and it is a lengthy process to have your graduation application updated to the correct term.
